Surfing a friends blog as I tend to do each day I came across Mia’s latest entry on antiminke, called “Don’t get groped, Get Even!”, which referred to another site where people who are victims of sexual assault are fighting back by taking photo’s of their assailants and posting them to the Internet.
What a fantastic idea! Some civil libertarians may be horrified, but as for me, if my space is going to be invaded by a cretin like these ones, they deserve to have their face splashed across the Internet so that others can be forwarned.

I dunno about this… I’m reminded of that Alfred Hitchcock Presents episode where the woman get’s raped and then driving in the car she stares at a guy and her husband asks what’s wrong and she says “That’s him, my God that’s him.” The husband leaves the car and follows the guy to an alley where he kills him… he goes back to the car and gets in, and his wife looks at another guy and goes “That’s him, that’s him”.
So while good in theory, it is open to interpretation and open to abuse by “victims” who aren’t victims. Nasty exs could take revenge in a bad way.

That thought occurred to me when I typed the original entry… The open to abuse part, not the Hitchcock reference… Boy you watch some diverse films.
