Oh my god! This is too funny, you simply have to check it out for yourself.
I found this posting today on one of the blogs I read of a fellow fabulous Aussie living in the U.S.A., James.
To share the link love, you can check it out directly on his blog, or you can view it here.
Even if you view it here, I’d recommend you swing over and have a look at No Day Like Today.
Enjoy, I love Jesus, but I drink a little… It’s a long video, but worth it, I promise.

LMAO that was soo funny. Thanks for that, a good laugh is always a good thing.

The plant is a Western Australian blackboy (except I don’t know whether political correctness still allows us to call them that, but that’s the name I grew up with!). Fancy them having a blackboy on a TV show in the US! (though I think Jay Leno has one too…). Brilliant piece!

They’re still called Blackboy’s as far as I know. They’re indigenous to parts of Victoria as well.
There was an entire national forest full of them near my old house (which incidentally settles this coming Monday – yay), they were burnt down with a bush fire, and looked magnificent as they regrew and burst into flower spurred on by the fires themselves.
Brilliant! I’ve always kicked myself I didn’t have my camera with me.
