The day is off to an energetic start. 5.30am wakeup, breakfast (porridge), juice, in the car, drop Mark at work early as he’s off snowboarding today. It’s a hardlife I tell you. Then off to the gym for me for a training session, followed up with a vanilla, whey and peanut butter protein shake, and let me tell you this, the shake is awesome. It tastes devilishly bad for you and yet it’s not. Works for me!
A dash to our mail box to find a parcel from my sister for my birthday, a very cool card and a t-shirt that I love. In fact love is the theme, it’s an “I love Frankston” or to be specific “I (picture of a heart) Frankston”.
If you don’t know what or where Frankston is, it’s my place of birth back in Australia, and a place that’s the brunt of a lot of snide comments. It’s like many places, in it’s early years it was considered a holiday resort and very fashionable to visit, then the popularity wore off, and it became a less desirable place. No matter, I still love it, it’s where I was born after all, and over the years it’s just gotten better and better and will soon return to it’s place of honour as a coveted destination. Hopefully I’ll still be alive when that happens. *laugh*
There was also a card and original artwork for my fridge from my long time friend Bernie and her daughter Cailyn.
Thanks guys,
way to make me home sick. *grin*
That’s the day so far, now it’s all washing, drying, sorting etc. Which is fine by me, it’s a dreary Seattle day today, it’s been raining all morning. Yesterday was beautiful, a warm Spring day with plenty of sun, let’s hope there’s more of that on it’s way. It’s a completely polar opposite from this time last week when there was snow. I may even take in a few movies while I do it all.
My only goals for today are to enjoy the peace, get some chores done, and research ice-skating lessons, and try and locate some boots.
I will leave you with an interesting/amusing/just plain strange video I stumbled across this morning. Being a cat owner myself I found it pretty funny. Some of the language may offend, but you’ll get over it.
Enjoy.

Hooroo for now!
