Another day has dawned and is well on the way. Another evening of bowling last night, where I was much improved on last week, and while Mark wasn’t as good as he was late last week, he’s still very much improved on how he used to bowl. We just have to hope now that we can maintain our momentum and continue improving.
We’ll even have our own ball soon too. *laugh* Apparently it’ll even be scented. How special, and yet how strange…
I’ve also completed all the paperwork I need to join a fitness program that I’ve been investigating, so in the very near future I’ll be at the gym at least 5 times a week. Speaking of the gym, I’ve also been in contact with their Human Resources Department and Recruiters as they’re advertising a job that I’m completely qualified for. As always, Visa’s will be the problem, but we’ll see what happens.
At least this time round, there is a chance that I may obtain sponsorship. So with any luck (and while I’m remaining optimistic I’m not banking on it), I could possibly be employed at the gym, which is only fitting since I spend so much time there now anyway.
So we’re just going to have to wait and see. The one bonus this time around is that I also have a referral for the role from my personal trainer.
All that aside, there’s not much going on. A belated congratulations to Nicci, Nick, on the birth of their new son Riley, brother to Tyler. He was born March 13th, another awesome Pisces. Seems like only yesterday Nicci told me she was pregnant.
My how time flies, it seems like only a short time ago Nicci and I were sneaking out on our breaks and “non-breaks” for a cigarette, way back when we were both single and fancyfree.
While I’m on the congratulations, another one, Congratulations to Tammy and Kelvin on their engagement.
I guess it’s all happening now, looks like I’d better start saving for a flight home to catch up with everyone.
