Things to do on the Internet

Filed under: Check it out, Must See Sites — Craig @ 1:49 pm

2 more sleeps to go…  So of course I’m going to need to find things to do to pass the time, things that aren’t based at the gym.  These ones are all Internet based, and if anything, are mildly entertaining, if not educational or helpful.

Firstly, there’s the Cooking6yNum6ers web site.  The 6’s are supposed to be “b”’s if you were confused.
It’s the lazy persons answer to turning food items into a gourmet meal.  Alternatively it could be viewed as a clever tool to ensure that each item in your kitchen is used to the best of it’s ability.
You simply mark off the items that you have in your Fridge and Cupboard, press the Find Recipes button, and follow the suggestions.

Perhaps you’re hankering for something a little more humorous, if that’s the case, perhaps Minesweeper: The Movie, is what you’re looking for.
Many of you will remember the old strategy game that’s on most computers that allows you to guess/determine where hidden mines are.  Well, it’s been turned into a movie.  Or at least a spoof of a possible movie.  If you remember the game, you’re going to love the movie.

If neither of those sites have tripped your entertainment switch, then perhaps StumbleUpon will be what you’re looking for.  It’s a nifty little toolbar and community that gives you access to numerous popular and interesting sites as identified by it’s members.
I don’t know about you, but given the expanse and infinite number of items available on the Internet, I still often find myself wondering what there is to look at, or feeling slightly bored with it all.  This could quite possibly solve this problem for good.

So that’s it,  I’ve finally shared the sites that I’ve been meaning to pass on to you all for at least a month now (Thanks Luke for the hints), and covered a daily post.

Have an awesome day! :)
