Since around 10.30pm last night it’s rained. Then rained, and rained some more.
The sort of sustained downpour that Australia really needs. Along with the rain there’s been thunderbolts and lightning, very, very frightening…
There’s even been hail, enough that it looks like a light layer of snow has fallen.
Needless to say we’re not going out tonight. We’re all inside, and we’re encompasses the dogs and the cats, and settling in for an evening in front of the television with the heater on.
Oh, and the sun sets now around 3.30-4pm. Joy and rapture. The grey and wet is here.
