On yer bike!

I think I’ve finally found my bike.

I still have to go back to the store and take it for a test ride, and ensure that it’s a good fit for me anatomically, but if it is, it’ll be MINE ALL MINE!!! in the next 48 hours.

How exciting.  Of course more information, and a description will be forthcoming once I go ahead.

But the quick summary.  I want to buy a road bike and start getting more involved in cycling.

I’ve been picking the brains of friends and trainers, and am if anyone else out there has information they believe I need to know as a first time road bike purchaser, feel free to drop it on me.

Gotta go though, I’m tired.  It’s been a big day, 6 games of racquetball (That I won!!).  Two trips to the vet.  One for vaccinations for the cats, and a second one because Oliver had an adverse reaction to a vaccine (despite having antihistamines first), lost the use of his back legs temporarily, scaring the crap out of me and sending me back to have him attended to.
A shot of steroids later, and within minutes he was up and running and looking pretty damn grouchy.  No surprise!
