Today’s been an interesting day.
For the first time in nearly 13 years, my ex-girlfriend Natalie and I caught up in person, and it was a blast.
Over a bottle of Chardonnay we talked about old times, what we’ve been up to, and the old comfortable friendship we had before we dated, and during, appears to have weathered time. We’ve also grown up a lot.
I think it may have been a little weird for Mark, but probably no less weird for Natalie, nor myself. But it was cathartic and enjoyable.
Even more exciting. It rained most of today in Melbourne. Massive downpours and electrical storms, enough to cool the parched earth down and give it a much needed drink. After last nights suffocating heat, and not sleeping more than 2 hours, the cool change is very welcome.
Right now though, it’s time to go and catch up on some of that much missed sleep.
Good night! 🙂
