The day started with a real Bunny, Bugsy my friend Sanda’s Bunny and her cat Baci, a nice quiet morning, while I looked after them and saw to their needs I sipped my first latte for the day.
After that we all headed out to Lysterfield for a picnic with my family. Just Mum, Dad, Kate, Trev, my nephew Jack, Mark and I, out in the sun, a beautiful day, and a lot of fun.
I think I got a little bit of a sunburn, but it was all worth it. There’s stacks of photos which I’m going to have to upload at some point, and I don’t think I’m going to eat again anytime soon.
I even managed this afternoon to catch up with my long time friend Nicci, her husband Nick, and their three kids, Tyler, Riley and Jada. The last time I saw Nicci she had just discovered she was pregnant with Riley, and she’s since added to the brood. A glass of wine out in the sun and we managed to catch up on some lost time before it was time for us to head out again.
Next up for our busy day. Dinner and quality time with Mark’s sister Danielle and nephew Taylor. The day is certainly a productive one, but it’s all got to be done. We’re at the tail end of our trip and now we’re squeezing in as much family time as we can before we leave.
Only three more sleeps and I’m back on another plane…
