Alone with my own mind

10 05 2009

I’m struggling to comprehend what day of the week it is at the moment, so I think it’s safe to say I’m a little jetlagged.

From the wakeup phone call at 4.16am on Friday 8th of May that got this all going, I’ve been wide awake and functioning mainly on  will power (stubbornness) and adrenalin.

But, the important thing is, I made it back home to Melbourne, and made it back in time.  I was terrified to turn my phone back on when I got off the plane.  Terrified that there’d be a message waiting for me… “You’re too late.”

That message never happened.  I’m home, with my family and spending as much time with my Dad as I can.

Thank you for the kind words, wishes and prayers that have been sent our way.
