HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Wishing you all health and happiness in the new year!
Thanks for reading. 🙂
To all of my family and friends back in Australia, may you all have an amazing evening tonight, stay safe, and Happy New Year to you all!
I hope that 2010 brings everyone joy, health, happiness and all other manner of good things. 🙂
It’ll be my turn tomorrow night! Goodnight all! 🙂 xoxo
PS…
*waves* to Sanda and Justine 😉
Today was pretty much an awesome day. Gifts arrived from my family, along with cards and photos, and I got to spend most of the day with friends.
This post really doesn’t do any of that justice, but all I can do is apologise as I’m exhausted and about to drag myself to bed.
So thanks Mum, Nan, Kate, Trevor, Jack, Cliff, Jason, Bryson, and anyone I left out!
Niters!
The year is almost over, and I’m excited as to what the new one is going to bring. Until then though, everything is quiet and there’s a whole lot of nothing going on.
Today was spent quietly and tonight will also be a relaxing one. The only thing to report is that I’ll be having a glass of dealcoholised wine. It’s apparently real wine, that the alcohol has been removed from, so it should still taste much the same… We’ll see…
Well today was one of the nicest sunniest days of Winter that I’ve seen in a very long time. Still no snow, and the ground is frozen so there’ll be no gardening, but a nice day all the same.
We had hoped to see the new Sherlock Holmes movie this evening, but all the showings were booked out, so now we’re home and going to watch something else, and since Mark has already pressed play I need to sign off.
Hooroo!
After two days of merry making today was spent in pj’s perched on the couch snoozing and watching television. The only breaks being for a shower, and a return to pj’s.
Don’t you just love the holiday season? 😉
Now it’s back to the television. We’re watching The Hangover now.
Goodnight and hope your holidays are great! 🙂
Well the last 48 hours have been amazing. As I mentioned yesterday, Christmas isn’t quite the same being so far away from my family back in Australia, but I’m very fortunate to have amazing friends, some of who I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with.
There’s been food, drink, children, laughter, helium, more food, more drink, more laughter, board games, movies, and lots more laughter.
Thank you! My cup of joy runneth over.
Seasons Greetings to all, and to all a good night! 🙂
Christmas Eve is coming to a close and it’s been amazing so far.
Not only did I get to spend the evening with friends with great food and drink, but I got to speak to my own family on the phone back in Australia to wish them all a Merry Christmas.
It’s sad to not be home in Australia with them, and I wish I could be, but I’m fortunate to have great friends here that are my family away from home.
To all of them, both those I see regularly, those I don’t, and the ones who are virtual (online), I hope that you and your families have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, safe, healthy and prosperous New Year.
Dad, it’s the first Christmas without you, it’s not the same, we miss you, but you’re never far from our thoughts…
Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas! 🙂
It’s the evening before Christmas Eve here, and there’s still no snow. So, despite my being used to Summer during Christmas, it just doesn’t feel right being living in a country that until this year has had snow every Christmas that I’ve been here.
Doh!
On the upside I have finally finished all the Christmas shopping, got nearly all the gifts wrapped, and while I’ve not yet posted them, so they’re going to be late, my families gifts are all ready to go. I’ve phoned them all though to assure them they’ll not be missing out.
As it is, it’s Christmas tomorrow for them over in Australia – Merry Christmas to you all!
Now it’s bed time for me, I’ve been up since 3am’ish and my eyes are starting to hang out of my head.
Good night, and Happy Holidays to you all!
Semi comatose is the best way to describe how I feel right now.
I’m allergic to wheat and sometime around lunch I ate something containing wheat.  The reaction isn’t life threatening, but it is pretty tedious.
Asthma like syptoms, headaches, hives, rosacea…Â that’s just a few.
I’ve since taken two Anti-histamines (Benadryl), so the symptoms have gone, which I’m mighty happy about. The big problem… Now I’m drowsy…
I’ll take drowsy. That does mean of course, that I’m going to bed now.
Goodnight! 🙂
